U19 Cricketers in North vs South Clash

TRINIDAD and Tobago cricketers continue to prepare in earnest for upcoming regional engagements with the top Under-19 cricketers on show this weekend, bidding for places on the national team.
The youngsters will get a final opportunity to address the national selectors on Saturday (June 3) when North clashes with South in a 50-Overs encounter at the National Cricket Centre in Balmain, Couva starting at 10 am.
The West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) regional tournament will be held in St Kitts from July 21 to 28 and Trinidad and Tobago with their line-up of exciting young players will be among the favourites to lift the crown.
Among those in the North squad is teenaged batting star Kirstan kallicharan, an ICC  World Championship winner with the U19 West Indies team last year and Tobagonian Joshua James, while South has in their ranks Cephas Cooper and Justyn Gangoo.
