MAQ goes to Trinidad

Having done such wonderful work in the United States in terms
of propagating cricket, Mahammad Qureshi has decided to make a foray into Trinidad and Tobago to assist the young cricketers there.

Qureshi under the advice of communications and media director at MaqTV Vinode Mamchan has decided to sponsor what will become an annual affair, the Maq North/South Classic in Trinidad. The match will be played at the newly opened Brian Lara Cricket Academy in South Trinidad.

Qureshi has decided to come on board as the sponsor of the event and he will be making sure that the players are well outfitted with top class gear from T20 Sports out of Pakistan one of Qureshi’s company. The young players will also get their first opportunity to play ‘white ball’ cricket, as Qureshi has decided to send his top quality cricket balls for the match as well.

In addition to all this the match will be shown ‘live’ on MaqTv on April 6, which is the date given for the game. Speaking about the event Qureshi said :”We are very happy to assist the young cricketers in the West Indies because before you know they will most likely go on to represent teams that will play at the US Open
T20. We have seen many West Indians coming here to play in our leagues and this is my way of saying thank you to all the cricketers down there. I am going to invest in their youths and look forward to a fruitful partnership across there.”
