CWI HAS FULL SUITE OF COMMITTEES IN PLACE St John’s, ANTIGUA – Cricket West Indies has completed the assembling of 12 committees which will provide policy guidelines for the day to day operations of the Secretariat for the period up to March 2019.
The committees are: Finance Audit, Risk and Compliance Human Resources Development Cricket Umpires and Match Referees Commercial Affairs – Marketing, Business Development and Communications International Fixtures Disciplinary Tribunal Ethics Medical Corporate Governance and Nominations Chief Executives Kishore Shallow, who is from St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG), is the newest Member Director. He is President for the SVG Cricket Association. Shallow is an Information Technology and Business Consultant. The newest Independent Director, Milton J Samuda, well-known attorney-at-law, chairs the Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee. Other Chairmen are: Anand Kalladeen – Finance and International Fixtures Conde Riley – Human Resources Development Enoch Lewis – Cricket Anand Sanasie – Umpires and Match Referees Dave Cameron – Commercial Affairs – Marketing, Business Development and Communications Hon Mike Fennell – Corporate Governance and Nominations Dr Donovan Bennett – Medical Justice Winston Anderson – Disciplinary Tribunal and Ethics. Johnny Grave – Chief Executives “We have assembled a great mix of professionals in the areas which the committees will cover and combined with the work the Secretariat continues to do.
We hope to improve on the management of the policies and programmes of Cricket West Indies,” says President Cameron. “The industry is vital to the development of the Caribbean as a region and we think we can continue to make a tremendous contribution to the social and economic growth of this region. We also are ensuring we provide the right environment for our players to thrive on and off the field,” noted Cameron.
The next scheduled quarterly Board of Directors meeting is due September 2017 . All committees are mandated to meet before to submit the relevant information required.
