The finals of the Courts Inter-Club cricket series carded for Friday night at the National Cricket Centre (NCC) between Cedros Progressive and C&B of Tobago was rained off.
Heavy and persistent rain in Balmain put paid to the much anticipated clash. The organisers have re-scheduled due to the magnitude of the match and it was due to begin at 7pm last night (Saturday night).
The winner of the title is expected to carry away $25,000 but if the rain ruins the match again then the title will be shared between both clubs. Over 250 cricketers got an opportunity to showcase their talent in the series this year and Courts invested $200,000 to make the venture possible.
